$1,000 + GST for 12 month membership. Includes 12 bespoke reports, 2 RIB Reviews (Half Year and year End), one hour telephone consultation, and annual data collection template.
Is the RIB Report for me?
Yes, it is for you if you operate a recruitment company with five or more team members. Our members are from a broad cross section of industry sectors. As the numbers of contributors grow, the value of the Index increases (from a larger comparative sample) and provides the scope for more sector-specific comparisons. This will enable you to be ranked not only against the Trend Index as a whole, but against your own sector of like recruiters adding more value!
How can I make the best use of my reports?
The first step is to take up the one hour telephone consultation where you will be walked and talked through your results and guided in how to extract the most information and benefits. Used correctly and as part of your regular reporting cycle, RIB Report can be a powerful management tool; it will help you understand the underlying trends that may impact the future profitability and viability of your business. The RIB Report has enabled many companies to set and achieve realistic targets, manage performance improvement strategies accurately and increase value to all stake holders. The monthly RIB Report is a valued team development tool, it measures relevant metrics, is factual, accurate and personalised, a shows your results in both monthly and quarterly perspectives. You can then determine the actions that will underpin achieving superior performance. It’s not just about profitability; it is also about achieving excellence in management (e.g. Resource Efficiency and Productivity) and business best practice (e.g. improving ROI value). Do I have to input the information?
Yes you do. The data input process is quick and easy. Simply paste your profit and loss figures into the RIB Data Collection template, input a further ten items of critical data and the task is complete. All new members are taken through the input process, and a RIB staff member is always available to answer any questions members may have.
How long does it take to input our data each month?
For the initial set up, you will need to input some historical data. This enables RIB to do year-on-year comparisons going forward. Once your historical data has been recorded, the normal monthly input of data should take no more than 20 minutes to complete. If you are a relatively new company or, for some other reason, you do not wish to input historical data you don’t need to. This means your RIB Report will not provide year-on-year comparisons until you have been a member for 12 months.
If I miss the data deadline, will I still get my report?
No. You get back what you put in. The members decided that if you don’t put information in, you don’t get information back. This encourages everyone to input so that everyone benefits.
Will anyone else see my figures?
No, your data is protected via a unique identification number and is only available to you. No company names are included on the RIB Reports. The confidentiality and security of your information is our highest priority.
If I miss a data deadline or want to alter previously submitted data can I do this later?
Yes. To alter data, simply go back to the relevant months on your Data Collection template and make the alterations you want. Alert the RIB Staff member of the changes and the new data will appear on your next report.
Can I get help to ensure I’m making the most of my RIB Reports?
Yes. In addition to the one hour consultation provided to all new members, the RIB team are always available to answer any one-off questions. Members also receive a User Guide which provides definitions for each of the graphs.
How long has the RIB Report been going?
The Recruitment Industry Benchmark Report issued its first Member Profile in July 2004. The RIB Report was designed and developed by Nigel Harse in response to ongoing requests from industry members wanting some way of measuring their results and successes against their peers. The RIB Report is proven to work for companies of all sizes; it’s completely confidential – only you ever get to see the data for your company.
