About the RIB Team

Nigel Harse – Director

Nigel is an expert within the recruitment industry and recognised as a trusted and accomplished leader. His first ten years in the industry were spent learning and earning his stripes, from the temp desk up. The next ten years he spent building his expertise and reputation as a top performing CEO.

For the past decade, Nigel has provided his expertise back to the recruitment industry as a mentor, coach and business consultant working exclusively with participating members of the RIB Report. Nigel is a popular conference keynote presenter and has spoken at many of the RCSA’s national and local events.

How the RIB Report Began

The RIB Report began in response to requests from many clients and industry members, all wanting some way of measuring their team’s results and successes against those of their peers, Nigel established the Report in 2003.

The RIB Report is a trusted organisation proven to have strong ethics, integrity and a growing membership across Australia and NZ. The RIB Report provides useful benchmarking and financial information essential for SME’s wanting to develop a sound business model.

Nigel attributes his career success to his managers, mentors and leaders, who shared their knowledge, challenged the norms, measured his performance and rewarded his success.

“It’s been a fantastic career and I’m as passionate about Recruitment today as I was all those years ago. I’ve succeeded through the economic highs and lows of the industry and had my best wins during the worst of times”.

Deb Charman – CEO

Deb has managed the RIB Report since it started in 2003. “I love that we provide our industry with a unique service through sharing vital knowledge, and that our members can apply this information to bettering their own business from the moment they join up. It’s exciting to see new and existing members grow from strength to strength and for them to see the impact of their efforts from one month to the next. Owner and Managers are often hungry for feedback and usually receive scant recognition for the effort they invest to continuously manage, stimulate and motivate a team. The RIB Report gives this feedback and shows how easily informed decisions can impact the improvement of a business. RIB measures the metrics that matter so you can get on with managing. It shows you and your team where to focus your future efforts.

The RIB is great for people with a passion because it provides information in a new and exhilarating perspective and comes with the additional benefit of being a valuable learning tool for all team members.
